Varun Chakravarthy Added to India's Squad for ODIs Against England
Varun Chakravarthy has received his first call-up to the Indian national team for the three-match ODI series against England. This is a significant achievement for the 33-year-old spinner, who recently returned to the national team after an impressive season in the IPL.
Since his return, Chakravarthy has taken 31 wickets in 12 matches at an impressive average of 11.25. He was also named Player of the Series in the T20 series against England, claiming 14 wickets in five games. His colleagues, including Dinesh Karthik and Ravichandran Ashwin, have supported his inclusion in India’s squad for the World Cup.
If Chakravarthy continues his strong performances in the ODI series, he could earn a spot in the final squad for the World Cup later this year.
