Jasprit Bumrah – Test Cricketer of the Year 2024
Bumrah became the sixth Indian to win the prestigious ICC award.
Jasprit Bumrah was named the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year 2024 on Monday, January 27. This is the sixth time an Indian has won the award.
Bumrah, who is currently ranked number one in the ICC Test bowlers’ rankings, played 13 matches for India in 2024 and took 71 dismissals, becoming the most dismissed batsman in Test cricket. His performances include five hat-tricks and India’s 295-run win over Australia in the opening match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Bumrah joined an elite group of Indian players to win this prestigious title, which includes Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, and Ravichandran Ashwin.
