Young talents are confidently taking over the ATP. Indian Wells 2025 will go down in history as the first tournament where three semi-finalists were born after 2000!

The 2025 Indian Wells tournament has become a milestone for the ATP: for the first time, three semi-finalists born in the 21st century have reached this stage. Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune (born in 2003), along with Brit Jack Draper (born in 2001), are proving that the new generation is ready to lead.

The fourth semi-finalist is Daniil Medvedev (born in 1996), who defeated Frenchman Arthur Fils in a tense tiebreak.

Alcaraz, the youngest of the trio, continues his remarkable run in Indian Wells, winning 32 of his last 34 sets. By defeating Francisco Cerundolo 6-3, 7-6(4), he is now just two matches away from securing his third consecutive title — an achievement only Federer (2004-06) and Djokovic (2014-16) have accomplished.
