Sitanshu Kotak Appointed India Batting Coach Ahead of England Series

Sitanshu Kotak, a renowned domestic cricketer, has been appointed as the batting coach of the Indian national team ahead of the limited-overs series against England at home. India will play five T20Is and three ODIs against England, their first bilateral series since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. 

Kotak will join the team for the T20Is against England, a BCCI source said. Kotak already has experience as a coach for India A and was also the head coach during the tours of Australia and Ireland. His appointment comes against a backdrop of a review of Gautam Gambhir's role as head coach after a string of underwhelming performances.
