Rohit Sharma Shines with Century Before Champions Trophy

India captain Rohit Sharma has regained his form, scoring a match-winning century against England ahead of the Champions Trophy. On Sunday, the 37-year-old opener registered 119 runs off 90 balls, leading his team to a series-clinching victory.

"Hitman Returns" was the headline in leading Indian publications following his triumphant comeback. Previously, Sharma had struggled, failing in the Test series against Australia and sparking speculation about his future in the team.

"Scoring a century before an important tournament is a huge boost for him and the entire team," said Ravindra Jadeja.

India will kick off their Champions Trophy campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh, followed by a high-stakes clash with Pakistan in Dubai on February 23.
