Lahore to Host Women’s World Cup Qualifier

Lahore sets the stage for a fierce Women’s World Cup qualification battle – only two will advance!
Starting April 9, two venues in Lahore – Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA – will host the qualifying matches for the 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. The 10-day, 15-match tournament will determine the two teams advancing to the global event in India in October-November.
Competing for a place in the final stage are Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, along with Scotland and Thailand, who ranked among the top six in the ICC Rankings as of October 28, 2024. The tournament kicks off with Pakistan facing Ireland and West Indies taking on Scotland.
Already qualified are India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka, who finished in the top six of the ICC Women's Championship (2022-25).
