Intense battle ahead: India aims for revenge against Germany in FIH Pro League.

The matches between India and Germany are scheduled for February 21 and 22.

The Indian women’s hockey team is determined to turn the tide in their FIH Pro League 2024-25 campaign as they prepare to face Germany. After a 3-2 victory over England, the team suffered a shootout loss in their second match and two more narrow defeats against Spain—3-4 and 0-1.

Currently led by Salima Tete, India sits eighth on the points table with just four points from four matches. Meanwhile, Germany, still searching for their first regular win, is at the bottom with three points.

“We need to convert our chances better and be more effective in crucial moments,” said captain Salima Tete. The team is motivated to put up a strong performance and is eager for a turnaround.
