Four Players Receive Wild Cards for 2025 WTA Austin

Four tennis stars secured wild cards for the upcoming 2025 WTA Austin Open.
The 2025 WTA 250 tournament will take place in Austin, Texas. One of the highlights will be the participation of four players who received special wild cards.
The first invitation was granted to Petra Kvitova, who will debut in Texas after taking a break from her career following the birth of her son.
The second player is Elizabeth Mandlik, a 23-year-old American and daughter of champion Hana Mandlikova, who made her return after a wrist injury.
The third wild card went to local star Malaika Rapolu, a 21-year-old American who showed excellent results in 2024.
The last wild card recipient is Australian Ajla Tomljanovic, who has struggled with injuries but is determined to return to top-level tennis.
