Samson is expected to make his comeback in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals.

Star Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson suffered a fractured index finger after being hit by a devastating hit from Jofra Archer during the fifth T20I against England in Mumbai. The injury will keep him out of action for at least a month, ruling him out of the Ranji Trophy quarter-finals.

Samson has reportedly returned to Thiruvananthapuram and will only start training after undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Only after the doctors give him the go-ahead will he be able to return to action.

His recovery will take at least five to six weeks, so there is no chance of him playing for Kerala in the match against Jammu and Kashmir from February 8-12.
