However, Dinesh Karthik, the former India wicketkeeper, told Cricbuzz that the ODI squad is almost complete and major changes are unlikely.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Nair, Karthik is confident about the return of young talent Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is expected to be in the ODI and Champions Trophy squads.
