India vs Ireland: A new chapter in women's cricket history!

Smriti Mandhana-led India women's team will look to continue their winning spirit in the first bilateral series against Ireland. After a 3-0 ODI and 2-1 T20I triumph over West Indies, the team is set to continue its dominance. Mandhana, who became the highest run-scorer, scored 148 runs in ODIs and 193 runs in T20Is, scoring five consecutive half-centuries.

In the absence of Harmanpreet Kaur and Renuka Singh, who are rested, Jemimah Rodrigues, Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol, who scored 115 runs in the previous series, will play a key role. In Renuka's absence, the onus of bowling falls on Titas Sadhu and Saima Thakor.

Ireland, led by Gaby Lewis, are yet to beat India in 12 matches. However, the team will rely on Orla Prendergast, who has WBBL experience.

The first ODI is scheduled for Friday and both teams are determined to show their best.
