India’s squad depth is so strong they could field three competitive teams simultaneously.

Australian pace bowler Mitchell Starc believes that India is the only team in the world capable of fielding three different squads simultaneously across all formats.

This statement comes after India’s triumph in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, their second title in nine months. The victory was achieved without stars like Jasprit Bumrah, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Rishabh Pant, showcasing the incredible depth of their squad.

"India could play a Test against Australia, an ODI against England, and a T20I against South Africa on the same day—and remain competitive. No other country can do that," said Starc in an interview with FanaticsTV.

In the current T20I squad, Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, and Tilak Varma shine, while Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan feature in ODIs. The core Test team includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Bumrah, and Jadeja.
