After a rocky start, Chacarra’s stunning 68 puts him in the lead. Can he hold on?

Spanish golfer Eugenio Chacarra proved that it’s not the start that counts in sport, but the finish. After starting with four bogeys over the first four holes, he finished the day with a brilliant 68 (-4) to lead the International Series India.

His back nine was a real treat: six under par, including a fantastic birdie on the penultimate hole. Where others might have broken down, Chacarra showed composure and got back into the game, proving that true champions never give up.

The weather conditions made things difficult: fog forced a suspension of play, leaving many players with unfinished rounds. But it’s already clear that this tournament promises to be a very exciting one, and Chacarra is the main contender for victory.
