Dubai becomes a battleground as India and Pakistan meet again!

Pakistan has selected Dubai as a top location for India's Champions Trophy matches in February-March this year. The decision was taken after tense negotiations as India refused to travel to Pakistan due to political tensions.

India and Pakistan, who compete only in multi-team tournaments due to diplomatic differences, last played against each other in India at the 2023 ICC World Cup. However, Pakistan has not hosted an Indian team since 2008.

The ICC confirmed that the matches between India and Pakistan in its tournaments will be held on neutral grounds. The agreement also extends to the 2025 Women's ODI World Cup in India and the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup, which will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

For Pakistan, this will be the first ICC tournament the country has hosted since the 1996 World Cup.
